Faculty Meeting - Monday Before Classes

There was food. There was coffee. Heck, there was even tea for those who couldn't handle the good stuff. There were also chairs littered throughout the room, a portable whiteboard with different-colored markers off to one side and Biff, of course, keeping guard.

Hades is here even though he got shot last night (he's fine, thanks for asking). Why aren't you?

[OOC: Faculty only, but come on down!]

Ares showed up. "Hades, please tell me there are dancing girls here."

Logan came in, grabbing a cup of coffee to wake himself up a bit.

Coffee, a danish, and possibly a croissant were balanced in Logan's hands, somehow without him dropping them.

Geordi was used to having meetings early in the morning, so that's why he was looking relatively cheerful as he entered because he figured that this meeting would be something similar to the weekly senior staff meetings held on the Enterprise.

Geordi didn't really need it but he still got some black coffee anyway.

Aly was mostly awake when she came in. Mostly.

John came in, and stared at Hades through narrowed eyes. Great. Just what he needed to see first thing Monday morning.

Coffee. Doughnut. Yes, these were things making Aly happy in the morning. She found a seat and wrapped both hands around the coffee.

John grabbed a cup of coffee, muttering under his breath about the island being taken over by denziens of the underworld.

Wilson wandered in, yawning and rubbing at his eyes. He had a large cup of coffee from the Perk and was knocking back what looked to be raisins. In truth, they were chocolate covered espresso beans.

Yeah, he hadn't exactly been connecting the dots when he realized just how late the broadcast would go and just how early the faculty meeting might be.

Whoopsie.

Thursday made a move straight towards the food table upon arrival.

On to his third cup of coffee, Wilson stifled yet another yawn and then raised his hand.

"What about organizing a faculty advisor program for the school? The kids sign up with their first, second and third choices, teachers take on about 5-10 kids, I'm not quite sure what our exact ratio would be here and we're sort of a point person for them to come to if they need help in deciding what classes to take, have general school or academic questions, sometimes we write recommendations for the seniors looking to get into college...occasionally organize the odd pizza party...that sort of thing?"

Tea wasn't going to cut it this morning. There was black coffee to be had. And biscuits.

Nothing went better with chocolate covered espresso beans than another cup of coffee. The rocket fuel from the Perk consumed, Wilson went after a cup of what was being brewed here this morning.

If he was lucky, it would peel the paint off his office walls.
