End of term grading

Dream has pinned a note to the bulletin board in the teacher's lounge. It reads, in Dream's impeccable (if slightly old-fashioned) handwriting:

Ms. Connor and Mr. Bristow --

I plan to begin compiling final grades for my classes over the harvest holiday in a week and a half.

Please let me know what the proper procedure is for grading. I wish to abide by, of course, all school norms and regulations.

[OOC: In other words, do I have to come up with letter grades based on everybody's classwork, or can I just make it up, or are there not grades at all? And will students get report cards?]

We would prefer that you come up with grades, however we have no good system for that this term.
