The Lounge is Open - 12/15/2005

Given the time of year, Methos has done his best to make things festive.

Accordingly, he has set up a beer bar with twelve pony kegs of beer, clearly labeled as to what kind (blonde, amber, dark, stout, pilsner, porter, etc.). A stack of pints and glasses are off to the side.

On another table is a spread of nice starchy foods -- dark breads, country fried potatoes kept warm in a chaffing dish, cold pasta salads, and the like.

On another table is non-alcoholic alternatives -- the requisite coffee, tea and hot chocolate, plus another kettle of apple cider.

Please to be getting drunk now. Kaithxbai.

ETA: There is now entertainment equipment for the lounge as well. Beer and video games. It's like a frat house, without the frat boys.

The Tick walked into the lounge for about the third time ever because I took half the day off from work. He took some hot chocolate for himself and for Lockheed, who was on his shoulder.

CJ walks in, thrilled to see her home theater system has arrived. Grabbing a beer, because unfortunately it'll make her headache go away immediately, She pushes the Doctor's feet over and sits down to play CounterStrike. She smiles at Professor The Tick, and anyone else in the room. Take a controller and play with her.

Mmph. [The Doctor, still knocked out on Nyquil and beer, puts his feet back where they were. Which now happens to be in her lap. He pulls the blanket closer and mutters something that sounds like 'Mean kitty.']
