After Shop, Mac opens up the lounge and brings in some fresh coffee not from class bagles, muffins and doughnuts.

He then kicks back on one of the sofas and reads the most recent issue of "The Daily Bugle".

After a bit of wandering, Zoe finally finds the faculty lounge, and takes a glance inside. It looks far more normal than she would have expected from her first few days in town, and she's taking that as a good sign.

Mac waves at the newcomer. "Howdy! Welcome to the lounge. Since you made it past Biff, I assume you're one of the new teachers?"

"Actually, I'm the new Dean of Faculty. Zoe Washburn," she says. "I thought I'd come by and see how the first day's going."

Mac straightens up a little to try and look *somewhat* proper. "Nice to meet you, names MacGyver but everyone calls me Mac. I'm the shop teacher."

"Oh, I heard about your class. With some sort of Danger Room?" Zoe gives him a proper smile. "That sounds like the kind of class I wish I'd had when I was in school."

Mac gives the Dean a smile. "Something like that. The main idea of the class is to get kids to improvise and think on their feet. You're more than welcome to come by and watch the class in action."

A thought suddenly hits Mac.

"Oh... and if any of my students offer you coffee today? It'd be a wise idea to refuse."

"I think I'd like that. And I appreciate the warning," Zoe adds. "Thank you."

Admiring the newcomer's aura of totally badass quiet elegance, Eighth walks over to meet her. "Hello, I'm Samantha Carter," she says with a smile.

Zoe easily returns the smile recognizing a fellow badass. "Zoe Washburn. It's nice to meet you."

"I haven't seen you around the lounge before - are you a new teacher?" she asks politely.

"Oh no, I'm the new dean of faculty. You are all my minions! I figured it would be better to come here and check the lounge out than to just sit in my office."

"Oh!" Eighth says, a bit startled. "Well, pleasure to meet you!"

Jenny takes a break from flirting with Mac to take in the new arrival. "Hey," she says, waving at the woman. "Come on in and have a snack."

"Thanks," Zoe says. "I'm Zoe Washburn, the new dean of faculty. I assume you're one of our teachers?"

"You guessed it," says Jenny, holding out her hand. "Jenny Calendar. Psychology and Magical Theory. Nice to meet you."

Autolycus wandered into the faculty lounge, and stopped dead when he saw Zoe. "Cleo?"

Zoe turned at the newcomer, giving him a curious glance. "No? I'm Zoe Washburn, I'm the new dean of faculty. And you are...?"

"Autolycus, the King of Thieves the Art teacher," Autolycus might have looked vaguely disapppointed for a moment. "I'm sorry, Dean Washburn, but you remind me of someone I used to know quite well."

A charmer. Oh, this one was going to be trouble. "It's nice to meet you. And there's no need to apologize."

"If you insist," Autolycus's heart was doing little flutters of joy, not only did this woman look like a dead ringer of Cleopatra, but something about her manner reminded him of Xena. "It's just, I've learned that it's never wise to get on the bad side of a woman with your regalness."

"Well, I don't know much about regalness, but staying on my good side would certainly be appreciated. And it isn't nearly as hard as people sometimes think." Damn charm. She may have almost been smiling.
