Teacher's Lounge: [1/12]

MacGyver opens up the lounge and provides various baked goods and pastry items for all to enjoy. Coffee, Soda and bottled water is available as well.

He sits back and turns on the discovery channel.

Engrossed in a journal, Daniel entered the room, snagged a pastry and took a seat before noticing the other man.

And immediately double taked.

Jenny wandered in because she couldn't pass this one up and grabbed her second very large cup of coffee. She hadn't been able to sleep well last night. She grinned at Mac, saw the other guy and tried not to notice the cute classes in front of her boyfriend. She quickly took a croissant and sat down to finish up her lecture notes.


OOC: I think the Doctor and I have been planning on every other Tuesday still. Don't know about anyone else, though.

Daniel looked across and smiled at the woman who had just walked in.

He really did need to do so much better with socalizing with the other teachers. Although being in the teacher's lounge was a start.

"So I'm thinking that I'm newer than you," said Jenny. "But I'll bet I've still met more of the faculty." She grinned. "You a hermit?"

Daniel laughed, and held out his hand. "Daniel Jackson, and believe it or not, I've been here since the start of last semester," he said. "I wouldn't consider myself a hermit, but I guess it looks that way, huh?"

Daniel had the grace to look sheepish. "I guess I don't really hang out with people as much as I should," he said. "I tend to keep to myself a lot. Something which I really need to change this semester."

Mac frowned for just a second. "Yeah I've been getting that a lot lately. He wouldn't happen to be related to that O'Neill kid would he? When I first went to school here he and I were practically identical."

"Too much to do," said Jenny brightly. "And two classes to run today. Jung and Psych 101. I get to snark on Freud!Go me! They're pretty good so far. Surprisingly, the basic psych course is the least full. How about your classes?"

[OOC Note of DOOM: First of all, no worries! We had a schedule last semester that went Monday - Bree (Me, but I could pick up the slack with Grissom I'm sure), Tuesday - Ten/Jenny, Wednesday - CJ, Thursday - Adam/Someone Else Eventually, Friday - Ted. I meant to e-mail Zoe, who is the faculty Dean, and ask if there were any new plans for the lounge, and then I promptly forgot. I could set up a new post for sign-ups, if people would like. Otherwise, Mac could take Monday's regularly, I could sub in Grissom with Adam on Thursdays, and we can continue to somewhat wing it.]
