One of the young earthmen in my charge has asked specifically that I help him learn about something called "muggles". As far as I know I've never used one, and I can't find any reference to them in the Guide.

Slartibartfast snoozes, mostly silent. At one stage he stirs, calls out in his sleep "Don't touch that breadstick", and returns to unconsciousness. His tea grows cold by his side.
