Fandom High Teachers' Lounge

The last staff meeting of the school year seemed to Zoe like it should be a more special occasion than the others.

That was why, among the usual pies, pastries, and drinks, there was also a moddable variety of alcoholic beverages for the teachers. You're welcome, Deadpool.

Zoe had every intention of having a nice, quiet faculty meeting this afternoon.

Of course, that had been before she'd gone to the lounge and found every piece of furniture wrapped in bubble wrap.

When it became clear that removing the bubble wrap was going to take more time than she had to get set up, Zoe sighed, and left the furniture as it was. Maybe the bubble popping wouldn't be too distracting during the meeting. And maybe Deadpool and Barney would become model administrative leaders, while she was wishing for impossible things.

The teacher's lounge had been relatively unharmed by the gremlins, which made it much easier for Zoe to get everything set up for the meeting than she'd been expecting. Today was a day of pies when it came to the baked goods, and there was the usual assortment of hot and cold drinks as well. Before she unlocked the door, Zoe made sure to check the room for gremlins one last time. She wasn't really up for taking chances today.

The tables and chairs in the lounge had been arranged for the faculty meeting, and there were plenty of snacks and drinks for everyone. There might have been a higher percentage of things that tasted like pumpkin and gingerbread than usual, but that was unavoidable at this time of the year.

The teachers and staff had all been handwavily notified that the first faculty meeting of the semester would be this afternoon, and even if they hadn't read the e-mail, the food in the lounge might have given away the fact that something was going on. As usual, there had been splurging for pie, and a number of moddable flavors were spread out across a table, with other goodies from the bakery, and a variety of drinks. (All non-alcoholic, of course. Surely, it was too early in the term for anyone to need a real drink!)

The teachers had all been handwavily informed of the first faculty meeting of the semester, and Zoe just hoped that everyone had recovered from the embarrassment of randomly breaking into song enough to come. There was an assortment of baked goods on the table, along with fresh fruit, juice, and tea, in case anyone was desperate for healthy options.

Zoe had been careful all week, staying away from both gremlins and people who might have been angry about getting bitten. (An actual feud between the Winchesters and the Skywalkers would just be unnecessarily messy.) She'd thought about canceling the faculty meeting, but with finals so close, there wasn't much time left to get all the teachers together. As she got everything set up for the meeting, Zoe had to drop her guard for just a few minutes, and that was all the time it took for a gremlin to sneak out and bite her on the ankle.

Forgetting about the agreement for a moment, Zoe swore and shook the gremlin off, and then looked down at herself. What was she doing? She couldn't perform for everyone dressed like this! Luckily, it didn't take long for her to go and find a much more appropriate red outfit and a guitar. Now she was ready to meet everyone!

There was a very cranky principal setting up the lounge for the staff meeting today. All the usual food and drinks were there, but in greater supply. As for Zoe, she was getting her frustrations out on the chairs as she banged them around into order.

The teacher's lounge was once again set up for the staff meeting, with plenty of food and drinks, and one very glaring principal. Mwahaha!

The teacher's lounge was set up in much the same manner as usual for the faculty meeting, except that there was a variety of candy out as well, in keeping with the theme of the day. If nothing else, Zoe figured chocolate and sugar were well-deserved by those who continued to survive working here.
