Teacher's Lounge 1/19

Grissom comes in at the beginning of the day and opens the lounge. He makes coffee for everyone with minimal personal woe, and sets out various luncheon type foods that come on plastic platters.

Anything that actually contains bugs is properly labeled. Scout's honor.

He'll be around until 6th Period, but there is plenty of food for the rest of the day.

In the interests of being a considerate partner, Sara does not elect to pour herself some coffee. (She already had some this morning, but shhhh. It's a sekrit.)

"Hey."

"I've closed my second bio section, since the one student in it has elected to switch to chemistry." An amused look. "I'll admit I felt a bit ridiculous teaching to only one in a capacity that was not a special project. How has your morning been?"

"I have a Coke. I'm trying to cut down on my caffeine intake." And she's mildly succeeded--this is only the third Coke she's had today.

[ooc: runs from work omg]

"It occurred to me, perhaps belatedly, that some of my troubles with sleeping might be correlated with my daily caffeine consumption." She ignores his smirk, snagging a section of the paper.

"Already did." Definitely a sheepish look.

Then, she laughs outright before showing him the story in her section. "Didn't you once say that people vanishing into thin air was a molecular impossibility?"

She is, needless to say, not particularly receptive to the details of the report.

"Honestly. And I've been assured that rectal probes have gone out of style."

She turns the page. "Ever read supermarket tabloids? I do, for sheer amusement factor."
