After class, Mac opens up the lounge and puts on a pot of coffee and puts out an assortment of pies that he got from Jeff the God of Biscuits.

He sits down on the sofa and looks over his class syllabus for the next few weeks.

"Hmmm... Didn't have an actual title, per se. I guess it would be best described as a "high-level-troubleshooter". Something went wrong? I was usually sent into to fix it or the situation."

She smiles softly. "Sounds a bit familiar. Ever blow anything up?"

Mac grinned. "Ohhhh. Maybe about once or twice a week depending on the situation. Did you say it sounded familiar? Did you do the same type of job before... you know. The robot thing.?"

"Oh, I almost forgot Sam made you a little gift in shop class today (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/554119.html?thread=26028167#t26028167). She said something about you being really into magnets. Is that true?"

She blinks. "She did? Magnets?" Her nostalgia for Jack O'Neill is making her sweat. Despite not having sweat glands.

"Yep. Big honkin' one too. She's quite a character. How are you two related again?"

"She's my third cousin, twice removed," she says absently. "I need to go."
