Teachers Lounge - Open from Noon - 7th Period

Between Hawkeye's suggestion over the radio and the follow-up announcement about the cafeteria today, Wilson had rumaged around in the fridge and pulled together a few extra quiche to take up and feed to his fellow teachers.

He figured this might beat out everybody living on antacids.

After his office hours, right around the lunch hour, Wilson waved to the teddy bear as he headed into the lounge and set up. There was a varity of quiche to choose from:

Quiche Lorraine.
Spinach and Bacon Quiche.
Kicked-Up Quiche for Manly Men.
Smoked Salmon Quiche with Crispy Potato Crust.
and last but not least...
Spinach and Asparagus Quiche.

There was also various teas, cider and coffee to go along with the quiche and on the angel's suggestion a baby greens salad.

"Well...I like to cook, find it relaxing and it seems the squirrels got hold of the fact that I made a quiche last night for Aziraphale's and I's dinner. Vice Principal Hawkeye mentioned sharing and with the news about the cafeteria being a little off today, I figured what better way to celebrate back to classes than with free food."

"A-ha," the Doctor said. "Wait a minute... squirrels?"

"MmmHmm." Wilson said with an expression of, not my idea. "Seems that, that's how the Radio gets it's news. Squirrels. At least that's what the young lady firing arrows off my balcony claimed...oh and I think it was mentioned once in a broadcast when it was suggested that Bel was with Anders."

"Bel's sleeping with who, now? I thought he was with Phoebe Halliwell?"

Because the squirrels thing he could take at face value.

"Oh, he is." Wilson said quickly. "The squirrels were just confused...which, given that they're squirrels...happens."

"As one would assume with news gathered by small furry creatures," the Doctor said. "Odd, that. Understandable, but odd."

"I learned last year to embrace the odd. It made diagnosing the bleeding, that much easier."

"Ah, yes, the bleeding," the Doctor said, finally helping himself to some food. "Hasn't been much of that lately, thankfully."

Wilson expression slid from the happy go lucky it had been into something more pensive.

"Well...a few incidents..."

"I wasn't aware of such," the Doctor said. "Anyone badly hurt?"

"Well, there was an electrocution by lightening and by secondary lightening, I guess you could say and we almost lost a student due to a metabolic issue."

"Metabolic issue?" The Doctor raised an eyebrow. "Allergy attack?"

"Mmmm, more like his body tried to consume itself."

"That sounds terrible," the Doctor said. "Everything end up okay?"

That, caused Wilson to pause and after a moment's thought he answered honestly.

"I suppose, that remains to be seen, Doctor."

The Doctor nodded grimly. "Hopefully things will prove fortunate, then. Much like this quiche, really." He smiled. "Fantastic, it is."
