Teacher's Lounge - Wednesday

Aly hadn't actually been paying too much attention to the upcoming holiday so the profusion of hearts, flowers, and pink in J,GOB had startled her.  She set a box of the least terrifyingly pink baked goods on the table and tacked a sheet of paper up on the bulletin board.

Then she sat down with coffee and a terrifying bad spy novel and waited for people she could coerce talk into signing up.

El yawned as he walked in and poured himself a cup of black coffee. "Buenos dias."

"Morning," Aly said with a smile. "How goes it?"

She laughed at his expression. "Very well, thank you." She gestured towards the box of pastries. "Help yourself."

"Thank you, I will," El responded, grabbing a doughnut. "Met your mentees yet?"

"Three of them were in my class and the other I've talked to a few times," Aly said. "But I've only talked to one about actually mentoring." She grinned. "His response was 'why?' What about you?"

"I've e-mailed them, but I haven't spoken to any of them yet. It's quite a diverse group. Including people I don't know at all.

"That should be...interesting," Aly replied with a wink. "It should be fun though. I enjoy all my advisees."

Emma entered carrying three roses, one yellow and two pink. She was looking a little puzzled. "I got flowers," she said.

The puzzled look remained. "What? But these--" She seperated a pink and the yellow rose from the other pink rose. "Are from a student! And they do not appear to do any damage what so ever!"
