Teacher's Lounge [Thursday, 10/09]

With a busy weekend approaching, Fraser had opened up the lounge early this morning. He'd started some coffee, brought in some breakfast pastries and taken a seat so he could relax. It would probably be the last time he would be able to relax until Monday. Homecoming weekend was always fun but always busy.

"Ooo! Pastries..." Deadpool was all over that. He should probably acknowledge the pastry bringer. "You're just looking for a raise, aren'tcha?"

"I'm perfectly happy with my salary," Fraser answered. "So, no. I'm just being nice."

Wade raised a finger to Fraser's lips to silence him. "Shh! You want a raise."

Fraser...had no idea what Wade had just done. So, he mumbled, "No, I do not."

"Shhh!" Wade insisted. "Shh. Shhhhhh. Raaaaise."

Fraser just continued to stare. And frown. "No, I don't need a raise."

"Just say it an we can move onto the delicious pastries and... mildly sub-par coffee."

"I don't need a raise," he said, shaking his head. "And the coffee is not sub par!"

"There has been better coffee," Wade informed him kindly. "But it's better than, say... what Arashi makes."

He made a face.

"Tea. Bah!"

"There's nothing wrong with tea," he replied, shaking his head once again. "It's just a different form of caffeine."

"A weaker form!" Wade inisited. "I want that caffeine hooked into my veins."

"I don't make coffee that's going to stop your heart," Fraser said apologetically. "You'll have to add sugar for that."

Wade sighed. "Maybe if you added some Jolt to it?"

"Jolt, the soft drink?" Fraser asked.

"Exactly! It's filled with caffeine and enough sugar to rot your teeth out of your head."

That just got Wade eying him. "Now I'm trying to figure out what you'd be like on a sugar high."

"I've never been on a sugar high so I don't know," he said. "I'd rather not find out."
