There was a dance coming up and, like all dances, this dance would needs responsible, adult chaperones.

Hopefully the adults would be on their best behavior that night and there would be no shenanigans or tackling or anything else of that nature. Fraser wasn't hopeful but it wouldn't be a dance without shenanigans, he decided.

Fraser posted a sign up sheet in the lounge for those teachers that wanted to attend the dance as a chaperone tomorrow. He also brought in some coffee and baked good for those teachers that just needed a bit of a break from the daily grind.

"We're not dueling," he said and rolled his eyes. "We're not ruffians."

Well.

"I'm not a ruffian."

"You could be with a scruffy beard!"

"You should speak with Robin. She wants me to grow a beard as well," he said.

"Maybe I will!" Oh, Fraser. Don't let them plan things. That way lay porn.

"Fine, then," Fraser said. "But just remember no one can make me grow a beard."

And now it was a challenge.

"Oh. We'll see, won't we?"

"I guess we will," Fraser said and made a note to buy extra razors.

Wade made a note to steal all the razors in town. "I'll get you and your little dog too!"

"I have eight dogs and if you touch them, Robin will shoot you," Fraser told him.

"I can't even pet them?" Wade gave him a truly wounded look for that one. Truly. Truly outrageous.

"You can but trying to take them will result in one angry Canadian," he warned.

"...even if it was to create a dog sled?"

"Well...you'd have to ask her," Fraser finally decided.

"It seems like I have a plan for tonight," Wade informed him smugly. "And I'll get her to admit I have the better ass."
