Teacher's Lounge [Period 2 and on]

After her workshop, Veronica dropped by the teacher's lounge and put on a pot of coffee. She also had a tray of brownies she had baked over the weekend.

She sat at one of the tables and started working on her lesson for next week.

Veronica was not exactly a coffee snob. As long as it was made properly.

"Bad?" Edna repeated. "It would be a tragedy! The resurgence of 80s fashion tragic!"

"I think resurgence of 80s fashion would be way more tragic than Maxwell House coffee," Veronica said. "I'm very anti-80s fashion."

"With the shoulder pads and the neon and the fabrics not found in nature," Edna ranted. "Peh!"

"And the hair. Dear God, the hair was," Veronica shuddered. "I think the 80s are single-handedly responsible for the hole in the Ozone layer. All that Aquanet."

"I seem to have a few people in my workshop trying to bring the look back," Edna said. "I will not allow it!"

"What workshop are you teaching?" Veronica asked, horrified at the notion.

"Oh, good," Veronica said. "Hopefully you can keep that travesty at bay."
