Teacher's Lounge, After Fifth Period, Monday [ 07/13 ].

Despite a slight bit of vertigo involved with a mishap that Daisy knew nothing about where the world had temporarily been plunged into a nonexisting Thirteenth Month due to mixing up the order of month and day in dating something, Daisy made it over to the lounge with the spoils of her class earlier. Smoothies, pancakes, oatmeal, and mini-quiches. She figured it might be a nice little breakfast snack for anyone still at the school this late in the day.

Plus, the more the other teachers ate, the less she would, and that was for the best, really.

Pancakes were exactly what Fred was scooping up and stacking on a plate.

"I almost skipped lunch for this," Fred joked.

"Oh, you shouldn't skip meals," said Daisy, automatically. "It's far more detrimental to try to skip them."

Almost, he said, Daisy. Almost.

"And, hullo, Fred, how are you? Help yourself, of course..."

That last part took a bit of trying, since she knew that the food was all healthy, but quantity would easily dispel some of the benefits, and while she did want the extras to be consumed...

"Pretty damn good," Fred said. "Back's giving me some grief, but that just means I gotta find myself a real bed, soon."

"A real bed?" asked Daisy. "Why? What have you been using so far?"

It was one of those questions tentatively asked, because the asker wasn't sure she wanted the answer.

"Oh, I think he's a blast," said Daisy, smiling with a shake of her head. "It must be nice, then, to still find someone familiar coming over here, even if he's only sort of familiar."

"Well, if you looked that good in tight red spandex, wouldn't you be a little obsessed with it, too?" asked Daisy.

And, quickly, realizing how that might sound, she added, "I mean, I know I would."

Fred laughed. "You want to see me in red spandex?" he asked. He'd do it, too.

Daisy's mouth opened to say something before she realized that she didn't know exactly what to say to that.

"We...ell," she finally managed, "it would be interesting."

Which she felt was very diplomatic of her, really. She was very firmly just keeping her mind on Deadpool's bum to help make this conversation even possible.

"We'll see," Fred said. "Got to buy some new clothes, anyway. Black might be a better color."

"I...can't say I'd know how that feels," Daisy admitted, probably creating some hole in some rift of logic somewhere because focusing on Deadpool's arse was what was getting her through this. "But I have heard that that's the case."

A maybe due to the beginnings of a small crush on Daisy. Maybe.

"Hullo, Tim," Daisy greeted him with a smile when he came. "Hungry at all? The kids in my class did a good job of making a lot of extra food today."

"I could eat yeah, thanks." He took a few pancakes and mini-quiches. Ooh, smoothie. "I'd imagine you're getting pretty popular with the rest of the teachers."

"Only really the ones that show up," Daisy said with a grin, "with this semester has been you and Fred."

"Aww, that's sweet, Tim. I actually can't take credit for all of these, though, some are from the students. And Ben helped me with last weeks. But I think the fact that I don't have class in the morning makes a big difference, too. Not a lot of teachers seem to hang out this late."
