Weapons Committee Formation
Alright... Given the current tidings about the weapons ban, I think the best effort to make the whole school feel safe is that we form a sort of Licensing and Certification board or Committee so that we know who has what weapons, make sure they can use them properly, and probably even make sure they have the emotional capabilities to handle such responsibility.
I volunteer my expertise in firearms for that part, and general overseeing of this project. We'll need someone to cover blades, magic, and other natural weapons and abilities as well, just so we don't seem discriminatory or anything. Note, I'm only asking you people because this should be an all-staff effort. No kids on the board here.
If we get something like this together, we should be able to present a decent plan to the administration, and most everyone should be happy.
Any questions? Volunteer?

If not, didn't I see someone swingin' a claymore around this weekend?

Actually, a claymore is more of a battering weapon than an edged one, and thus is a very different class from swords, rapiers and cutlasses.Ahem. Here.

Obviously, what I'm trying to set up is different experts with their own set of standards to evaluate the students in whatever sort of capabilities they may have... Like, making sure those who want their guns have the ability to not only shoot them properly, but also how to properly take care of them, and all that.
I have no clue on swordsmanship or that magic business, so that's why I asked for help.
