Wednesday Afternoon

After class she goes into the teacher's lounge. She needs to get away from the student body and sit and have a deep and long laugh at the memory of her students, blindfolded, bumping into each other and feebly trying to figure out who they were.

There is no possible way she can walk out of this building yet...she just knows she'll laugh out loud in front of them...and that will destroy everything she's been working toward this week...

She sits there, drinking a cup of coffee and smiling at the pictures in her mind.

No, I've just seen him in the halls. One of the kids he runs around with is in my class. Lindsey. I get the feeling he's a good kid in with a bad crowd.

The hard thing to remember is... some of these kids are good. Some of them are evil, and still others undecided. And yet they're still kids.

Yeah, and I get the feeling a lot of them have baggage that they shouldn't be carrying at such a young age.

So, Adam, what do you do besides librarian duties and fight the undead and get shot and pop back up and scare me half to death and have that big ass sword in the library?

Oh, drink beer. Listen to rock music. Practice with the big ass sword so I can defend myself against other Immortals. I have a ridiculous fondness for game shows.

I mean, like maybe a staff party or something. All of us could hit the town.

Adam, I need to go. School's out and I need to be anyplace else right now go get a gift for a friend before the store closes.
