Free Period for Teachers -- Wednesday, October 5th

Sarah drags in a grill and drops a shopping bag full of steaks, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats onto the table. Today, she feels like setting meat on fire, so why not grill stuff?

Drusilla looks up from the coals to smile and wave at Dream.

OOC: It's been ages since I've read any Sandman. How does that work? If Dru's sort of bound to one of the Endless' realms, does she half-recognize one of them, but not really know them?

Dream walks over to Drusilla.

Hello.

[OOC: It kind of depends on how crazy she is. Normally humans can't tell (unless it's Death and they're dying), but demons do seem to know the Endless. It's up to you on Drusilla -- if I had to guess, I'd say she half-recognizes at least Dream, Delirium, Death and Desire, but doesn't know quite what they are.]

Straightens up from watching the pretty beautiful coals and thinking of what lovely fun it would be to burn someone's eyes out with them, Drusilla smiles at Dream. "Hello," she says, then narrows her eyes and looks at him curiously. "You're very different."

OOC: I actually like your take on that, the half-recognition and not quite knowing what they are. Some things are too big even for Drusilla's abilities as a seeress/weird psychic chick.

Dream considers this.

I may be.

But I am also the same.

Drusilla smiles brightly at him. "Do you like to waft along on clouds, then? I think that would be perfectly lovely."

My youngest sister has tried it.

She told me it was disappointing.

It is better in the Dreaming.
