For once, Sarah is actually reading a book. However, anybody who passed by would notice it's a well-worn copy of The Anarchist Cookbook.

Today's catered lunch is sushi. Eat all you want.

He was crazy...raving. He hit Lindsey, and then he turned on me. He broke my vase of flowers you gave me...then he tried to stab me in the heart.

[She calmly sips some tea]

He's going to be hurting when he wakes up.

[He rubs his face, then takes her free hand and squeezes it.] Oh dear god...I'm glad you're badass at fighting all right, and I hope your student is as well...and Jack... Do you think he ran into the gremlins?

I don't know what was wrong with him. He said I was trying to steal him, bit by bit...eyes and toes and bones. Then he said because he'd told me, he had to kill me. Then he sang me a little song...and...I don't think that "red lily" will ever have the same meaning for me again. [shudders]

That...isn't Jack, then. [He strokes her hand with his thumb.] It sounds like he's gone mad. Literally, gone mad.

Right now he's litteraly gone unconcious. When he wakes up, I'll go see him...find out what happened. I hope Lisa and Dr. House can help him. [She smiles wickedly] Maybe give him some ice for his...[ahem]...injuries.

I didn't really want to hurt him you know...he kind of put me in a position where I had no other choice. [sighs] I'm glad I used to teach that class in L.A.

[A long sigh from him.] Me too.

He and I were needing to have a talk, anyhow.

Ten...[looks at him] I don't need you to...

I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself. You don't have to talk to him.

[He looks back at her, serious.] I know you can. It's about me, unable to get over the past him. The one I knew. And this new him's behaviour...this is the last straw.

Well, all right. But if he's still like he was today...you won't get far. He's insane.

[He watches her eat, slightly amused.] Because his illness came on quickly. I'm guessing it'll leave as quickly as it came.

[Chews, mumbling Mmm-hmm again. She swallows and sips her tea.]

I'm going to get out of here. If Bristow wants to talk to me, have him call my cell. I'll be at home. I need some time alone.

[squints at her] Bristow? Sounds like fun. I'll pass on the word. [He kisses her cheek.] Do you want me to make you dinner, later?

That would be really nice. Nothing you have to beat into submission first, though. OK?
