Free Period for Teachers -- Monday, October 24th

Sarah sprawls across the couch, a thick notebook in her lap. She keeps looking down at it and staring hard as if she's trying to bore holes through the paper through force of will, then letting her head fall against the back of the couch and making a strange growling sound.

There's an Italian buffet for anyone who wants something to eat.

Lorelai bounces into the Teachers Lounge. She had to stop by and make some copies for her classes tomorrow.

She loads up a plate of spaghetti and then notices the Principal. She realizes they've never been properly introduced, and goes over to say hello.

"Principal Connor? I'm Lorelai Gilmore-Danes, I teach business classes here. I realized that we were never officially introduced so I wanted to say hi. How are you?" Lorelai, of course, is her normal, bubbly self and has no idea that the Principal is the likely the least perky person on campus.

Sarah takes in all of Lorelei's perkiness with an eerie calm and silently reminds herself that she wants to throttle Her Royal Duchess Leeannadanna Banana Adama and the Pirate King, Captain "Severe Case of Scurvy" Angelus her principal-type schedule and not the business teacher.

Contemplating what she would consider a polite answer to an inquiry as to her current status, Sarah fixes Lorelei with a hard stare and after taking a drag off a cigarette, asks in her nicest, most hopeful tone (albeit, still a pretty grating voice), "You wouldn't happen to have anything on you that would make a loud noise if I smashed it against the fucking wall, would you?"

Lorelai starts rummaging through her purse, looking for something appropriate. After all, it would be nice to help the Principal.

"Hmm," she says idly to herself while discarding lipstick, a hair brush, her favorite coffee mug, a half eaten blueberry muffin and a pack of gum. "Oh!" she finally exclaims. "Does this work?"

She is holding a hammer that is decked out in pink feathers & sequins.
