The Complete Works of Nora Ephron, because I'm apparently not sensitive enough to like chick flicks. Probably some of MFK Fisher's work--her writing on food is a meal enough itself.

What were you planning on reading?

I'm working my way through Alexis DeToqueville's Democracy in America for perhaps the seventh time. It's a wonderful book. I'm certain I'm keeping you, sir. Please, don't feel compelled to chit chat. I'm sure you are a sexy passionate incredibly sensitve without having to watch chick flicks busy man.

Ah yes, I met de Toqueville, a very long time ago. A fascinating man, brilliant.

[He smiles at her.] I won't keep you either, Ms Cregg. Have a lovely day.
