Free Period for Teachers -- Monday, October 24th

Sarah sprawls across the couch, a thick notebook in her lap. She keeps looking down at it and staring hard as if she's trying to bore holes through the paper through force of will, then letting her head fall against the back of the couch and making a strange growling sound.

There's an Italian buffet for anyone who wants something to eat.

Sounds like you have quite a few friends here, then. Class went well for you?

Always. I have fantastic students. And I always come up with interesting stuff for them to do. Today we discussed friendship and how friends communicate. Tomorrow I'm going to have them do an exercise emphasizing the importance of non-sexual touch in platonic friendships...wake up Geoff...COmmunication isn't that dull! [She laughs, then notices Ten and smiles at him]

[Laughs] Actually, it sounds very interesting. I'm starting to wish the school offered classes for the teachers.

So do I! I wish I could sit in on Daniel's classes. He's a genius.

Which class does 'Daniel' teach?

He teaches anthropology and archeology and ancient Egyptian something or other. He speaks so many languages and is just...amazing. What a mind. Our students are lucky he's here. Almost all the teachers here are highly qualified. I think I'd like to take Dr. Grissom's Criminology course. It sounds fascinating.

[Geoff nods and looks impressed.] You're right, they both sound fascinating. Maybe we'll have to crash their classes sometime. [grins]

I've had that same thought. [Ten greets Geoff, and CJ puts her hand on his lower back affectionately.]
