Sarah sprawls across the couch, a thick notebook in her lap. She keeps looking down at it and staring hard as if she's trying to bore holes through the paper through force of will, then letting her head fall against the back of the couch and making a strange growling sound.

There's an Italian buffet for anyone who wants something to eat.

[Geoff grins at the both of them.] Well, for now they all seem very well behaved. I'll be sure to let you know, though, if one of them gets out of line. I'm sure you could give me some pointers.

I'll threaten to send them to her, then. I understand she makes her students give policy speeches during detention.

[laughs] And what do you do when you're students get out of line, Ten?

I give them my patented Stern Look. [He attempts to do it to Chaucer.]

[Geoff tries to keep a straight face, but the corners of his mouth twitch and eyes crinkle.]

I see. [He nods]

[The Doctor grimaces a bit. Then he smiles.] Guess I'm not so good at that.

I've never been very susceptable to the Stern look. People have generall done better with the Threatening look or the I Will Fong You look.

...Fong? [Ten looks a bit confused, then grins.] But what about the 'I Want To Drag You To The Haymow' look? Didn't you ever get that one?

[Geoff raises an eyebrow, but grins back] Once or twice, I suppose.

Pish, I'm sure more than that. [He waves a hand at him.] Now that's a far better look than 'I'm Going To Hit You Upside The Head', don't you think?

It is indeed. Although Kate once threatened me with that one.

Probably because you were being infuriating. I get that one a lot. [disarming smile]

[chuckles] Isn't that always the way.

[pauses, looking serious] Would it be an intrustion into your private affairs to tell you that I'm happy you and CJ seem to have...worked things through?

[quietly] Not at all. [He blushes.] Thank you.

You're welcome. [Geoff smiles and stands silently for a moment, not certain what to say now that the conversation had turned serious, and to relationships at that.]

Mostly, yes. I'm, uh, working through some things but...[shrugs and smiles] It's not a big deal.

[Geoff looks somewhat surprised at the invitation, but pleased.] Thank you, Ten. Although, I think it's slowly working itself out.
