Faculty Party - Friday Afternoon

Lorelai was grateful that Bucky took a nap for part of the morning. It gave her plenty of time to transport food from the diner to the teacher's lounge.

She got everything set up and even decorated the lounge so it would be a little more festive. Since it's Lorelai, that means she hung up some balloons and streamers and covered everything with glitter.

Everything was ready in plenty of time and she was sitting on one of the couches giving Bucky a bottle, waiting for people to start showing up.

"I don't believ we have," he answered. "Constable Benton Fraser, head of security. Pleasure," he said and offered his hand.

Abby took his hand and bemoaned the fact that she didn't really have a title. "Abby Sciuto, internet teacher."

"I worked with mounties in my last job. Or rather one mountie." She paused and shrugged. "It's possible he was just Canadian."

He nodded and asked, "Do you mind if I ask what your last job was that you might've worked with a mountie who might've just been Canadian?"

"I'm a forensic specialist with NCIS. It's the criminal investigative service for the Navy." Abby beamed. "We were tracking a terrorist cell that crossed into Ontario. I dealt with a nice bomb tech named James."

"Do you know him?" Abby facepalmed the moment after she said it. "Forget I said that, please."

Fraser laughed and shook his head. "I don't but I'm sure he is a fine Canadian. Forensics? And teaching? Quite the full load."

"I'm taking a break from the forensic job right now. Although I still help out whenever they need me." Abby nodded. "Teaching has turned out to be a lot of fun."

"They are following my instructions." Abby smiled and didn't mention that her instructions sometimes included hacking.

"That's very good to hear," he said with a nod. "I must admit that I don't know much about the internet myself."

"You're more than welcome to stop by the class and pick up a few tips!" Abby said. "I've already told a few of the other teachers I'd help them out as well."
