Faculty Party - Friday Afternoon

Lorelai was grateful that Bucky took a nap for part of the morning. It gave her plenty of time to transport food from the diner to the teacher's lounge.

She got everything set up and even decorated the lounge so it would be a little more festive. Since it's Lorelai, that means she hung up some balloons and streamers and covered everything with glitter.

Everything was ready in plenty of time and she was sitting on one of the couches giving Bucky a bottle, waiting for people to start showing up.

"We might actually have a shot of taking back the House in 34 days!" Josh said, grinning harder. "And there weren't buckets of slime this week! Life is good."

"Congratulations on that," she replied, not having a clue what he was talking about concerning a house, but if it made Josh grin like that, it couldn't be something that bad. He wasn't one of the crazy teachers, after all. "And I agree that any week without slime is already off to a good start."
