Faculty Party - Friday Afternoon

Lorelai was grateful that Bucky took a nap for part of the morning. It gave her plenty of time to transport food from the diner to the teacher's lounge.

She got everything set up and even decorated the lounge so it would be a little more festive. Since it's Lorelai, that means she hung up some balloons and streamers and covered everything with glitter.

Everything was ready in plenty of time and she was sitting on one of the couches giving Bucky a bottle, waiting for people to start showing up.

[wait for ocd have at it!]

"Oh, that sounds very nice! Are you teaching them theory, or how to play instruments...?"

"Mostly the different styles of music and the importance of flash and style when peforming," Lorne replied. "That and shaking the boo-tay."

"'Shaking the...boo-tay'?"

Aziraphale thought probaby he didn't actually want that explained. "I'm teaching Prophecy, myself. A subject I'm rather fond of, although I never expected I'd be leading on a class on it one day. Are you no longer working at the club?"

"I left to find my fame and fortune in children's television," Lorne said with a sigh. "Unfortunately it just didn't work out."

Considering what he'd seen of children's television, Aziraphale was rather surprised. He'd always assumed the demons were running the industry.

"I'm terribly sorry to hear that. But perhaps its what's meant to be. After all, it's to the students' benefit that you left, or else you wouldn't be here teaching them music now."
