Staff Meeting, Friday (after classes)

Zoe was very happy that the power was working again as she made sure everything was set up for the staff meeting. While it might have been amusing to watch everyone huddle together for warmth, she greatly preferred the lights and the heat. There were still plenty of hot drinks on the table though, in case people hadn't quite warmed up yet.

Hammer was there, his gloved hands on his hips as he eschewed the food and coffee.

He wasn't watching his figure anything. (He was naturally like that, after all.) He just didn't like the taste of coffee.

"Oh my god, what happened to you?" Hammer asked, the epitome of tact and subtlety. He peered at the woman and her really terrifying fascinating eyelashes.

Hammer mentally reminded himself to be kind to ugly people. No one could be as beautiful as him, after all.

"Oh, no, no, ma'am. Not at all," he said, flashing her a charming smile. But not that charming. Because he didn't want to charm her that much.

And by charm, we mean 'have sex with.'

Yzma was still checking herself. It wouldn't do to have spinach stuck in her teeth or something equally horrible.

"I am Yzma," she announced grandly.

Algren was there, and the coffee was a lifeline, and he'd made a point to wear extra layers today, just in case the heat cut out or his clothes mysteriously happened to vanish again.

He already didn't trust Fridays.

Mohinder had taken a coffee mug that was just the right side of hot-enough-to-burn-fingers hot and he certainly wasn't intending on letting go of it anytime soon.

Lily was there, on time and everything for once. And was finding the cookies strangely addictive by the way she kept going back for them. It was whoever's fault for making them tasty.

The food was the best part of these meetings! Minsc and Boo munched happily, thinking about...well, he looked like he was thinking about something, but he'd be hard pressed to figure out exactly what it was.

"First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for doing such a good job with the assembly last week. I think the students got a lot of entertainment out of it, and I hope you all did as well." To be nice, Zoe was not looking at Nathan at all while she spoke if he was there.

"As I'm sure you've all noticed, our power has been restored, and I'd like to thank those of you who kept up with your classes even when the environment was against you. On a final note, there's going to be a convention for law enforcement officials going on here this weekend, so don't be alarmed if there are new people wandering around town, because odds are, they're here for that." If anyone wanted to stay secluded to stay out of trouble, well, that was up to them.
