Staff Meeting, Friday (after classes)

The teachers had all been handwavily informed of the first faculty meeting of the semester, and Zoe just hoped that everyone had recovered from the embarrassment of randomly breaking into song enough to come. There was an assortment of baked goods on the table, along with fresh fruit, juice, and tea, in case anyone was desperate for healthy options.

Loki didn't usually attend the meeting but he showed for this one, grabbing some food and a drink before finding a spot against the wall to lean against and listen.

Veronica wasn't the least bit embarrassed about breaking into song yesterday. It had even been kind of fun.

She had a cup of coffee and was debating between a chocolate chip muffin and an apple.

Sophie had ended up singing the entire song set from meta for The Sound of Music yesterday, at different intervals. Maybe she could find a production, somewhere on the East Coast?

In the meantime, there was coffee and a staff meeting.

Tim hadn't broken out into song in front of the faculty, so he wasn't too embarrassed. He did however still feel somewhat awkward about being the youngest one here.

There he sat, looking like a student crashing the meeting.

"Good afternoon," Zoe said. "I don't have much in the way of official business to share with all of you today, except to welcome our new teachers. As I'm sure you've noticed over the past two weeks, this place is rather...unique. The fact that you're all still here says a lot about you, and we're glad to have you. That's all I have to say, thank you."

If Deadpool had anything to add, well, she certainly wasn't going to encourage him, but she wouldn't stop him either.
