Sarah makes sure that the hoagies, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and other barbecue food are spread out for everybody to eat.

She sits down in one of the chairs and starts scribbling down notes, leaning over the notebook so no one can see what she's writing. She may be writing a Regency romance novel based on the Fandom High faculty, but you won't get her to admit it. Because she's not writing one, see.

It's entirely possible she's trying to picture Ash during the love scenes, but since she's not actually writing a romance novel -- *shifty eyes* -- she's not really picturing him, is she? Nope. No, sirree.

RC eyes the food with mild disgust but finds herself a seat and runs her fingers through her hair. She is not looking forward to tonight's class.

Zaphod is mildly annoyed by his students, and looking to vent. He spots the first person not already in conversation, and plops down.

"Sass this. If a zombie attacked you, wouldn't you prefer that it at least dress in a presentable manner?"

"Zombies have been attacking recently?" she asks, eying him carefully.

"Of course not! You think I'd be around here if they were? I'm just saying, hypothetically, a Zombie’s having a nibble on your brains, brain, however many you may currently be in possession of, wouldn't you want him to have the fortitude to dress fashionably for the occasion?"

"I think, if I were human and attacked by a zombie, I'd be thinking more about fleeing than their particular lack of dress fashion. But indeed, a well dressed force of evil is something to admire." She absently preens.

"Exactly!" Zaphod slaps his knees in agreement. "I mean, being eaten is rude enough, but if said muncher isn't even in hip attire, that makes the entire deal that much more of an insult."

She gives him an amused smile. "I'm Dr. Carter, I don't think we've met yet."

He gives a trademarked winning grin back. "Zaphod Beeblebrox. President Zaphod Beeblebrox, but as I'm a bit on the run at the moment, that title isn't currently preferred. Hoopy to meet you."

"Tell me about your homeworld, Zaphod," she asks slyly.

"Oh, not too much to tell. Your standard carbon based info structure, most famous for producing yours truly. It's roundabout the vicinity of Beetleguise. What about you?"

"Carbon based? Do you use any heavy metals at all in your systems and structures?" she asks coyly.

"I'm from around these parts by way of a nearby galaxy..." she says vaugely.

"How nearby? Northern spiral? Hoping this isn't too frank, but you seem like a northern spiral kind of girl to me."
