Faculty Meeting - Tuesday Before Classes

The food was there, the guard teddy bear was there, the coffee was there. Everything was set. Hades was fidgeting.

"So, uh," he rubbed the back of his neck. "Here's the thing. The school board is coming to visit next week and they can shut us down if we don't show 'em a good time, so try not to be your usual charming selves."

"Couple of things. There's an email going around that one of the kids is evil. They might be, might not be, it's not for me to judge. But the official policy is 'try to talk them out of doing anything stupid if they bring it up, if they don't bring it up, don't mention it.' You know, in case it comes up, or doesn't. Whatever.

The school board thing, before you pummel me with questions, they're coming next week. Monday to Friday. They'll be dropping in on classes. If they give you trouble, well, I don't know. Deal with it however you deal with it.

And we're gonna go with that mentor thing that that guy suggested." He pointed at Doctor Wilson. "OOC sign-ups will be up later this week. Participate or you'll look like an idiot."

"A student's gone to the Dark Side evil?" Rose asked. There might be disbelief in her tone, might just be her fighting a yawn. It's really a toss-up.

"Evil is such a strong word, and we shouldn't go around labelling the kids. I don't want to be responsible for a therapy bill."

Yes, this was coming from Hades. He may have been high on ambrosia or up to something. It was really hard to tell which.

Emma brightened. "Which student?" Surely, they couldn't blame her if she mindwhammied an evil student? Or an overly annoying school board member?

Aly had to control a giggle. "No, really, that's the official policy? Someone needed to write it down?"

"I'm surprised it's not translated into Latin," Josh murmured near her ear. He smiled brightly. "I'm good at schmoozing. I'm not so great with pure evil. So point me towards the hopefully less evil board members, please."

Wilson stayed quiet in his chair as he heard the annoucement about Bel.

The news about the Faculty Advisor plan being a go was definitely good news Yay! for the day...school boards...meh, that was like dealing with the board of trustees back at PP-TH something he was an expert at.

Meanwhile...going back to brooding thinking about Bel.

A student turning evil, huh? Well, she hadn't gotten any post-its, so she was pretty sure no one was dying today.

The school board thing she could help with, though. "I'm more than willing to provide sexual favors to the male or female members of the school board to keep this place open."

Yes, that was said outloud. And not quietly.

Yuki has to stop himself from spitting out his coffee. Wow. Uh. Why didn't he come to these meetings before? Blonds and sexual favors? These meetings aren't so bad after all. He swallows the mouthful of hot coffee and coughs a little.

Daisy totally noticed. She always did when someone was paying attention to her. She casually uncrossed and then recrossed her legs. "Unless they're like, really ugly. But I could definitely handle moderately ugly, for the good of the school."

She turned slightly in Yuki's direction and offered him a slow wink.

Zoe was doing her best to keep a stoic look at the mention of the school board, despite her bitterness that they couldn't have come before she'd ended up in a state where she couldn't drink.

"A student going evil was something that took precedence, in John's estimation, over impending school board visits, not the least because random evil could really throw a monkey wrench into said visit.

"When you say evil," John began, "are we talking demonic evil? Or just rules-don't-apply-to-me teenagerish evil?"

Though his name wasn't Hades, Wilson couldn't keep from saying softly.

"Demonic. He was the one who attacked me the first of the year."

Flynn sat quietly. He was used to things changing, though mentions of demons and the like were still new concepts to him. Granted, he was a god everytime he went... to the other side, but he didn't take it for granted. He was just Flynn. Nothing more, nothing less.

He did speak up when it came to the Board...
"I can help out on that respect. I was, after all, a CEO of a very large corporation before I came here..." he smiled the Flynn smile.
