Faculty Meeting - Friday Morning

As promised on the notices that went out to everyone on the staff, there was free food in the teacher's lounge, to entice people to come and stay for the faculty meeting - an assortment of pies, along with coffee and tea.

Yes, the dartboard with Jamie Madrox's face was still up. For therapeutic reasons, of course.

She may have deliberately ignored the teasing.

"The regular idiots from last term are learning," she replied, dryly. "I'm not sure whether to be thrilled or frightened. You?"

"Flattered," Aly proposed. "They're scared enough of you to bring through their normal idiocy." She grinned. "I made mine dance last class. Some of the expressions were golden."

"Dance?" Kerrigan paused at that one. "...I need to remember that for when they get too bad. I'm sure River would be thrilled."

"It's training," Aly said seriously. "Controlled movement. Plus they hate it."

...she might have heard the story of Kerrigan hating it.

Kerrigan rolled her eyes. "River's better at it. Unless you plan to show up and do it *in* my class. During a sim."

With armor. That might actually be funny.

She also regretted it the moment she said it.

"Two weeks from now," she said. "And you have to wear armor."

"Oh, and what colour's your armour, Kerrigan?" Aly asked. She paused. "That wasn't supposed to sound like so much of a pick up line."

Pause.

"Also not a pick-up line."

And then smacked herself in the forehead. "Or blondes of the female variety in general."
