Faculty Meeting - Friday Morning

As promised on the notices that went out to everyone on the staff, there was free food in the teacher's lounge, to entice people to come and stay for the faculty meeting - an assortment of pies, along with coffee and tea.

Yes, the dartboard with Jamie Madrox's face was still up. For therapeutic reasons, of course.

Get your pie before it's all gone!

"Welcome to our first faculty meeting of the year," Zoe said. "Thank you for taking time out of what I'm sure are busy schedules to be here. I don't have any specific topics for discussion today, but I thought it would be good to check in and see how everyone's semester is starting. Unless anyone else has something they'd like to discuss?"

Yay OCD!

Sure, it's only been two weeks, but you have to have picked up on the bad apples by now.

If anyone wants a more private conversation with Zoe.

Barney arrived bearing a fresh bottle of scotch. Sure it was from his office stash, but he'd get one of the idiots in his class to refresh that for extra credit later.

Nathan got a cup of coffee and kept an eye out to see who showed up. Not that any teachers in particular were on his radar or anything.

Bond spared a quick glance around the room before heading for the coffee. It looked palatable at least.

Juli arrived and nabbed herself a coffee before settling in to quietly observe and form her own opinions on the other staff members.

Nathan hung back after the meeting. A private chat with Zoe was just one item on his agenda today.

Mohinder took a cup of tea and looked round thoughtfully at his fellow teachers.

Mike went straight for the coffee.

Ghanima fixed herself a cup of tea with a small amount of melange, and found a spot to lean against the wall. Mmm...tea.

Nathan shot a look at Mohinder which was outwardly polite, but suggested it would be a wise idea for Mohinder not to come near.

Vala arrived more or less on time and helped herself to a slice of apple pie. Mostly because she heard it was what Americans did.

She then began to wish for some milk.

*steals Zoe's pie*

Mohinder nodded neutrally to him, noting that Nathan's opinion evidently hadn't softened overnight.

*smooshes pie in Vala's face*

Zoe noticed that she wasn't alone, and gave Nathan a friendly smile. "Hi there."

Aly took a piece of ~~damn fine~~ cherry pie and a cup of coffee and suddenly wondered why she felt like Dale.

She shrugged it off and settled back to watch the show.

"Principal Washburn," Nathan said, with a nod of greeting. "I was wondering if I might have a moment of your time?"

"Certainly," she said. "What can I do for you?"

Yes! Yes, Tink had a very important question!

Where had she gotten those shoes?

Tink was here, looking around hopefully for liquor.

Tink was about to be a very sad little pixie.
