Faculty Meeting - Friday Morning

As promised on the notices that went out to everyone on the staff, there was free food in the teacher's lounge, to entice people to come and stay for the faculty meeting - an assortment of pies, along with coffee and tea.

Yes, the dartboard with Jamie Madrox's face was still up. For therapeutic reasons, of course.

Fraser was there sans leather pants with a bottle of water in one hand.

Aly whistled.

Even without the pants, he still deserved it.

And Fraser blushed. "Stop that. No whistling at me," he said, sounding amused.

"Too late," she teased. "There was a good deal of hot last night. It deserves a few whistles."

"Thank you," he said and laughed. "The pants went over well."

"Glad to hear it," Aly chuckled. "Robin seemed pleased last night."

"She was," he said and conveniently looked elsewhere.

Aly laughed and tilted her head to catch his eye. "Oh? Is there blushing?"

"Not if you don't point it out," he mumbled because, yes, there was blushing.

"Is that like a tree falling in a forest?" she teased. "If I don't point out the blushing, it's not there?"

"Well, no," he admitted, "but if no one points it out then it goes away quicker."

"Well, what's the fun of that?" Aly asked.

"Ha ha," he said. "Stop making me blush."

She laughed. "It's so much fun for me though. I'd need to find a new hobby."

"One day, I'll no longer blush as easily as I do now and you'll be so put out," he declared.

"Quite possibly," Aly agreed. "I'll just have to find a new hobby that involved tormenting you."

"There's no need to torment me," he said and frowned. "I'm adorable."

He never thought he'd use that as an excuse.

Aly burst out laughing. "That's the best reason to torment someone."

"You're so mean," he said. "So mean to me."

"Why would you ever think that?" she asked.

"Because you're you," he said like it was obvious. "But I do thank you for the help with my pants. They were the right pair."

"I was happy to help you fulfill the bet," she smirked. "And I thought they might work. You even picked a good shirt."

"I have nice clothes," he said. "I just rarely have the opportunity to wear them most of the time."

Aly shook her head. "You should make the opportunities, Benton," she teased. "You're not on duty all the time."

"It's a habit that's hard to break," he explained, shrugging. "I feel like I have to be on duty all the time."
