Staff Meeting, Friday (After Classes) [09/12]

Now that the semester was underway, Zoe thought it might be a good idea to start regular meetings back up, and had ~~handwavily~~ informed all the teachers of when and where to be. There was pie, juice, coffee, and tea to keep them there in case they didn't want to stay at first.

"Well, everyone's made it through the first two weeks without jumping ship or taking casualties. That's always a good sign," Zoe said, smiling. "For those of you who are new, we try to have meetings like this every other week ~~when I remember to post, cough~~ to check in with each other and make sure that everything's running smoothly. I imagine we'll have more to discuss once Homecoming preparations are underway, but for now, I just want to check and make sure that no one's having any problems."

If anyone has anything else they'd like to discuss.

I think I had a dream about posting an OOC notice that this was coming, which is why it wasn't real. *facepalm* Anyway, meetings, yay! Like I said, they'll be every other weekish, taking into consideration BDEs and breaks, and this time, I have a Google Calendar reminder set up for posting. *cackle*

...I have never dream-posted before. I dream about work all the time, though.

There was a Deadpool by the coffee and pie. Because that's what you needed to survive. Yes, even after classes were over for the week.

Now if only they could get some alcohol in here...

If I go to bed stressed about a game thing, I'll have dreams where huge flame wars erupt in my inbox overnight.

I may sometimes take this a little too seriously. Um.

Tyler needed coffee. A lot more coffee. At this point, he suspected his blood was about 80 percent caffeine.

... He'd take some pie, too.

"Other than a pie being exploded at me, everything is working really well," Tyler reported as he leaned back in his seat. "How soon is Homecoming?"

Anakin was never going to say no to coffee.

It might get him tossed out of his house if he did.

Fraser bypassed the coffee but did grab a muffin before finding an open spot of wall to lean against.

Fraser spoke up here.

"With so many new faculty members, and welcome to you all, I'd like to make a polite request," he said. "If you're going to get into an argument or fight during your office hours, please close and lock the doors. There's no need for the students to hear that or see it. I'd almost wager they'd start betting on the winner."

Bond was there, hanging by the pie. Mmm pie.

"...wait, people have been getting into fights?" Deadpool asked. "Why did no one tell me?"

"That was my reaction too," Tyler said, leaning forward in interest. "Seriously, people can't wait until they're off the clock?"

"It's a precautionary measure," Fraser said. "Besides, you tackle me all the time."

"Maybe they have 'issues' and are too edgy to keep from getting into fights at work?" Deadpool suggested. "...and I still think green is a fabulous color on you, by the way."

"But I have the good grace to shut the door!"

There was a small pause before he added. "Most of the time."

Ooooo, evil! I get dreams of my characters that make no sense even IN the dream.

"Which is why it's a precautionary measure," Fraser said. "Be nice."

"...be nice about what?" Deadpool asked slowly. "Did I do something and forgot about it?"

" 'Issues,' whatever, it can still wait."

Tyler looked at Deadpool warily. "You did teach modeling," he stated. "Is that your professional opinion?"

Because clearly it made so much sense to take fashion advice from a guy in jammies.
