Staff Meeting, Friday (After Classes) [09/12]

Now that the semester was underway, Zoe thought it might be a good idea to start regular meetings back up, and had handwavily informed all the teachers of when and where to be. There was pie, juice, coffee, and tea to keep them there in case they didn't want to stay at first.

Anakin was never going to say no to coffee.

It might get him tossed out of his house if he did.

"Well at least this island has decent coffee," Indy remarked to the girl in the robes.

Wait. That's just a guy with a girly haircut. Oops.

Anakin looked up from his coffee, and snorted the sip he'd been taking right out his nose.

Very smooth.

"You all right there?" Indy said trying to hide a smirk.

He was building himself a carbonite chamber, dammit.

"Fine," he gritted out.

On closer inspection, it wasn't Han Frelling Solo, but it was still far too close a copy for Anakin to be happy about.

"You're new."

"Indiana Jones," he said noting the tone in Anakin's voice but offering a hand anyway. "I'm the new librarian."

"Yeah," Indy said dryly, bordering on snappish. "Quite a bit actually. Is there some sort of problem here?"

"You remind me of my son-in-law-to-be, assuming this version of my daughter doesn't smarten up," Anakin told him.

"Oh yeah?" Indy smirked. "Well I ain't him. So lighten up a little, pal. And before you ask, I'm not anyone's evil identical cousin either. Or whatever that girl said I was."

Evil cousins? That was different. He'd have to ask Jaina about it.

"I don't lighten up," Anakin retorted.

"Yeah well I'm sorry I'm a visual reminder of your personal issues," Indy snarked back. "Clearly you have a few."

Anakin's knuckles went white against the coffee mug.

"If a pink cardigan-wearing British woman in Special Collections asks you to tea? Say yes," Anakin snapped.

"You mean the former principal?" Indy said with a cold grin. "Considering my current company, I'd probably accept."

He tweaked the brim of his hat in barely noticeable tip of his hat. "Pleasure meeting you."
