Staff Meeting, Friday (after classes)

The teachers had all been handwavily notified that there would be a staff meeting today, and while the alligators and their goldfish put a minor wrench into things, they weren't enough for Zoe to call the meeting off completely. She made sure that there were plenty of snacks and drinks, and there was a first aid kit out on the table as well, in case anyone needed a little care in order to stick around.

"Why are they all idiots?" Ronon asked, coming up to Anakin with a hint of donut powder on his beard. He liked the snacks, okay?

"And you've stayed how many years?" Ronon was not sure how many anyone could take.

"Too many," Anakin said. "Each one of them thinks they are a precious and beautiful snowflake and not, say, alligator chow. Idiots."

"Remind me not to try helping them. Got a lecture on killing creatures," Ronon complained. And here he'd thought he'd done a good thing.

"Oh, Force, is Blair back?" Anakin asked. "He was convinced all the world needed was more hugs. Or puppies. Because that was going to stop someone from trying to eat you."

"Dunno, some chick. Called herself She-Ra," Ronon didn't want to know where they came up with these names. "Who's gonna hug a fish spewing alligator? This girl with no clothes."

"Oh, that will end well," Anakin replied, rolling his eyes. "And then she's all upset that her time communing with the deadly wildlife was interrupted by the mean, mean teacher, right?"

"Exactly. I'm some neanderthal who cut her new bud's head off and she's calling Zoe," Ronon replied. "Least we got snacks here." That helped.

"The snacks almost make up for the stupidity," Anakin said. "Until the rest of the teachers eat the good donuts and I have to plot their deaths, too, of course."
