Faculty Party - Friday Afternoon

Lorelai was grateful that Bucky took a nap for part of the morning. It gave her plenty of time to transport food from the diner to the teacher's lounge.

She got everything set up and even decorated the lounge so it would be a little more festive. Since it's Lorelai, that means she hung up some balloons and streamers and covered everything with glitter.

Everything was ready in plenty of time and she was sitting on one of the couches giving Bucky a bottle, waiting for people to start showing up.

Daisy figured she ought to at least make a show of paying attention to her fellow teachers, and thus arrived, fashionably late, of course, to the party.

Well, it was no Hollywood party, but she supposed it would have to do.

Daisy raised an eyebrow at the other woman's outfit, but nodded. "Hi."

Abby took in the raised eyebrow with a grin. "So what do you teach?"

"So stage? Screen?" Abby arched her eyebrow back at Daisy. "Dinner theater?"

"Please." Daisy laughed and shook her head at the dinner theater suggestion. "I did screen acting this summer, but the class this semester is just the bare basics of acting, for the stage, since that requires less renting of equipment by me."

"Probably not, I don't catch a lot of dinner theater." Abby said with a smile.

"Mary Poppins." she said offering her hand. "I teach Cross Species Communications."
