Staff Meeting, Friday (After Classes) [09/12]

Now that the semester was underway, Zoe thought it might be a good idea to start regular meetings back up, and had ~~handwavily~~ informed all the teachers of when and where to be. There was pie, juice, coffee, and tea to keep them there in case they didn't want to stay at first.

And over by the food, there was a tall, hulk of a man with dreads piling pie onto a plate.

"No one required any knives this week," Eliza said, smiling at her teaching ... really, there had to be a better word than 'buddy.'

"Too bad. All mine do is complain," Ronon replied, always pleased to see his buddy. She wasn't bad to look at. "You'd think they didn't sign up for the class."

"What is it they're complaining of?" Eliza asked, raising an eyebrow. "Perhaps your material is too difficult for all of the students to grasp."

Ronon raised an eyebrow. "It's physical education. Not much material at all."

"Physical education?" Eliza asked. This required another sip of tea. "Are you pushing them past their own physical capabilities? I imagine I should whine, in that situation."

"They're barely breaking a sweat," Ronon shrugged. "You got good physical capabilities?" It was a question.

"I'm hardly an athlete," she admitted. "Though I'm more fond of running about the countryside than riding horseback."

Ronon nodded his agreement. "Same." He actually wasn't sure he knew what horseback was, but it couldn't be too different from puddlejumpers.

"Perhaps I'm more of an athlete than I thought," she laughed. "You never know. This could be my clever disguise."
