Staff Meeting, Friday (After Classes) [09/12]

Now that the semester was underway, Zoe thought it might be a good idea to start regular meetings back up, and had handwavily informed all the teachers of when and where to be. There was pie, juice, coffee, and tea to keep them there in case they didn't want to stay at first.

"I will be helping."

She wasn't a small lady, for one, and for another there was going to be a lot to carry. It wasn't as if she was going to leave him alone with the burden.

He grinned. "I don't mind, you know," he elbowed her lightly. "I'm just teasin' ya." He did so enjoy doing that to her. It might get him in trouble someday.

She didn't get offended, was too old to get offended at something so small and slight. Instead, she smirked.

"For that, you'll get to carry the heavier ones."

"Awwww," he mock-whined, his mouth open in a gape as if he were mortally wounded, then he started laughing. "Only fair, I reckon."

He kept giggling a little, smirking at her.

She nudged him.

"Behave, HM, if you would."

But the impish smile made her words a bit ridiculous.

"Okaaaay," he gave her a small pout, then a grin. He didn't want to push things too much. After all, there was a bunch of other people present.
