Staff Meeting, Friday (After Classes) [09/12]

Now that the semester was underway, Zoe thought it might be a good idea to start regular meetings back up, and had handwavily informed all the teachers of when and where to be. There was pie, juice, coffee, and tea to keep them there in case they didn't want to stay at first.

Oh, yes, because Bond had never had to deal with anyone who was good at ducking before. Ever. Really.

Which was why his knee was coming up towards Anakin's groin.

"Just so we're clear, if 'this guy' is a cowardly bully who'll dish it out without being prepared to take it, I'm afraid you're just a bit too late," Bond replied, voice fairly dripping with contempt.

Anakin's jaw clenched. "I'm no coward, but I'm not going to get hit just so you feel better about yourself. You might be very good where you come from, but so am I. And here you're on a slightly different standard of what's good."

He yanked on his robes. "But I'm choosing to remember I'm an adult. You can be what you wish."

With that, he turned on his heel and moved to a different part of the room.
